We are running an underwater photography workshop at Roots Red Sea Resort in Egypt. From Monday to Friday during the workshop we’ll give talks on a range of topics including subject selection and photographing Red Sea marine life, exposure, composition, lighting, wide angle and macro techniques. We’ll also be available throughout the week to answer your questions and give advice. There will be opportunity for us to look at your pictures on computer and give one to one advice including editing tips. And we will have some demo equipment with us such as strobes and wet lenses for you try out, subject to demand.

The house reef at Roots has excellent biodiversity and a normal week’s accommodation and diving package includes 6 days unlimited house reef diving making it ideal for getting lots of photography practice. Excursion dives by shore, zodiac or hard boat are available for a supplement.
