Underwater Photography Workshop for Compact Camera Users

We will be running another of our two day classroom based underwater photography workshops for compact camera owners in North Manchester. This would suit anyone starting out in underwater photography or who would like to improve their images who is using or intends to use a compact camera such as an Olympus TG, Canon G9X or Sony RX100.
Day One content includes: Housing Care, Available Light Photography, Using Artificial Light Sources, Composition, Camera Features and Settings, Diving Skills and Safety for Underwater Photography.
Day Two covers: Understanding marine life, what to do with your finished images (competitions, social media etc), more advanced use of light, how to achieve more artistic results, specific styles of underwater photography and opportunity to try strobes, snoots and macro lenses in the classroom.
Both days take a flexible workshop format with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
Cost is £175 per person for the two days or £100 for individual days. Day one can be taken as a standalone unit and anyone who has done this previous will only be charged £75 for day two. A £30 per day non-refundable deposit is required when booking with balance to be paid at no later than a week before the event. Balance is non-refundable if you cancel within a week of the event.
The course runs from 9.30am to 5.30pm Hot drinks and biscuits are included in the price.
Free parking is available at the venue. It is also close to a bus route and about 15 minutes walk from a Metrolink station. Overnight accommodation is available at a number of hotels in the area.
